Job Summary:

Two Bit Circus is seeking a mid-level Business Development Manager.  Our ideal candidate is someone who can knock out a fierce pitch deck, professionally and creatively represent the Company to existing and prospective business partners, understands financial models, has strong business acumen, and can provide general support to our CEO and CFO.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Willingness to accept the most effective role;
  • Organize and manage the BD pipeline, including organizing leads from multiple entry-points within the company, assisting in qualification, ensuring lead status is accurately monitored and that opportunities are resourced and pursued in a timely and appropriate manner;
  • Develop, analyze and disseminate all standard sales and productivity reports and customized analytics as required to support all direct lines of business;
  • Create well-structured, compelling partner project proposals, financial and throughput models, polished decks and presentations;
  • Ensure that appropriate internal stakeholders are consulted or informed at all relevant times, from proposal conception through project execution;
  • Lead day-to-day partner relationship management, from proposal concepting through project execution and delivery;
  • Maintain relationships with key external contractors;
  • Align new business opportunities where applicable to the the company’s long-term strategic goals;
  • Periodically provide a synthesis of learnings in order to improve our business development process;
  • Identify trendsetter ideas by researching industry and related events, publications, and announcements, while continually looking for novel trends and opportunities that advance our thinking and impact;
  • Understand and clearly articulates the Company’s vision, mission and core values;
  • Participate in BD or, as appropriate, investment committee meetings with CEO, President, CFO and other key internal team members, adjusting attendees to reflect the needs of the current projects;
  • Support executives in the development and logistics surrounding business development outreach trips, presentations and events.

Job Requirements:

  • 5-7 years professional experience, primarily in sales, strategy or marketing; experience in gaming or immersive/experiential a preferred;
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, or marketing, or equivalent professional experience required; MBA preferred;
  • Skilled in Google G-Suite and Excel Powerpoint. Familiarity in PowerPoint, Keynote and Adobe Creative Cloud a plus;
  • Excellent verbal, written and quantitative skills. You need to be able explain a complex concept simply while also flying your way through a spreadsheet;
  • High-level design skills and an eye for sharp presentations;
  • Self-directed toward excellent work outcomes; comfort level in ambiguous, non-rules based environments;
  • Detail oriented, excellent follow-through and solid communication skills;
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time; Ability to work evenings and weekends if needed.

Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this position require the employee to regularly use hands and fingers to handle, feel, or operate objects, tools or controls, and reach with hand and arms. The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, talk, and hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus. This would require the ability to lift files, open filing cabinets and bend or stand on a stool as necessary.
